Eye Candy Friday

I came home from work yesterday and found this blooming daffodil by my back door.

And I broke into song.

At last
My love has come along
My lonely days over
And life is like a song

I hope you find something to sing about this weekend, too.

Do you know that our daffodils haven't bloomed. The red tulips and jonquils are up but we're still waiting on the daffies.

yay spring! we know it's spring when we can see the crocuses coming up around our 70+ baby jesus's-complete-in-plastic-bubble statues in the yard. Gotta love renting. :)

that is one torchy song

I miss Massachusetts a lot but one major advantage of living in the South...I've had spring for at least 3 weeks now. My daffs are up, my tulips are smiling and my azaleas are literally bursting. Spring is much longer down here. But fall is not nearly as technicolor as New England-nothing beats that!

Yay for daffs! Mine are thisclose - yours are beautiful! :o)

I think that little daff was worth a song. Although, I hope Mason didn't hear you. He'll be jealous. You know how cats can be.

Happy Weekend!

I'm not sure how much scope I'll find for singing at work this weekend, but my daffodils finally opened yesterday, too.

Such a lovely photo!
Yesterday morning my husband and I left the house for the day. By the time we returned in the late afternoon, it seemed that all of our daffodils bloomed at once!

My daffodils are finally blooming as well! I'm so excited. Unfortunately, we had snow over the weekend and a freeze last night--but hopefully these are hardy enough to withstand the weird April weather.
