Out here if the leaves are brown it's because of drought. The contrast is very pretty!

Our leaves are further along than yours... Looks like you had a ball in Rhinebeck, I've been seeing you on other people's blogs too! That knitting in the seminar story-geez, some folks are just spoilers, huh? I have jury duty soon and am hoping to be able to knit, especially during the supposedly long waits.

It makes me a little sad because those leaves should be turning beautiful colors, not just drying out on the tree. But yes, the effect is pretty cool... ;-)
