Loksins!

I finished my Locksins! just in time for my trip west.

Aren't they purty?

The pattern, of course, is Cassie's and the yarn is Judy's Ball and Skein.

I can't even tell you how tickled I am to have socks made with one friend's pattern and another friend's yarn. Particularly when the pattern and yarn are such a great match.

They are absolute perfect and I love 'em!

Wonderful marriage of pattern and yarn! They look so comfy. Have pattern and Judy yarn- in my queue.

Perfect match of pattern and yarn. They are lovely.

Posted by: Karen at September 13, 2007 6:53 AM

They look amazing. And I'm tickled that you made them. ;-)

Posted by: Cassie at September 13, 2007 7:08 AM

Those are beautiful! The knitter of my Loksins is in time out for bad behavior (and also, possibly, cluelessness). But I will finish them before cold weather hits, I hope.

Posted by: DebbieB at September 13, 2007 7:10 AM

They are really pretty! I love that yarn.

Posted by: Kirsten at September 13, 2007 7:21 AM

They look so cool! You might need them in the evenings from the sound of things. TOMORROW!

Sah-Weet! Sounds like your going to need something to keep your tootsies warm out west too!

Posted by: Deb at September 13, 2007 8:08 AM

They are very beautiful! I think I've found something else to put in my Ravelry queue. :)

Posted by: Beth at September 13, 2007 8:21 AM

Lovely socks! I wish I had wool socks on right now. It's downright chilly this morning!

Posted by: Karen at September 13, 2007 8:48 AM

Carol, They are gorgeous! Have a great trip, I'll be watching for updates.

Posted by: Judy at September 13, 2007 9:50 AM

Stunning :-)

Posted by: Karen at September 13, 2007 9:53 AM

They look so SOFT! Great job!

Posted by: elizabeth at September 13, 2007 9:55 AM

Aha. Digging through my stash for a lighter shade of green. My first swatch didn't look quite right -- and it's because the green was too dark. Thanks for the helpful hint!

Posted by: Sylvia at September 13, 2007 9:55 AM

Perfect combination. Have fun in UT!

Posted by: Wanda at September 13, 2007 9:58 AM

So grassy green and purty. :)

Posted by: claudia at September 13, 2007 10:11 AM

Gorgeous! And a perfect fit. Green seems like such a fitting color, although I can figure out why seeing as how the pattern doesn't have little clovers in it or something!

Posted by: jillian at September 13, 2007 10:17 AM

Yarn and pattern go together very well! Beautiful knitting :o)

Posted by: JessaLu at September 13, 2007 10:28 AM

those rock!

Posted by: cece at September 13, 2007 10:51 AM

You're right -- that is a perfect match of yarn and pattern!

Posted by: Danielle at September 13, 2007 11:33 AM

They're wonderful!

Posted by: Carrie at September 13, 2007 11:43 AM

They are so pretty. And I think you are right about the perfect marriage of pattern and yarn. I have some of that Ball and Skein yarn and I think I'll go get the pattern from Cassie. Thanks!

Posted by: Annie at September 13, 2007 11:58 AM

They're gorgeous, Carole!

Posted by: Vicki at September 13, 2007 1:08 PM

Ooh, those are lovely! I love how the subtle variegation works with the pattern. I am *green* with envy for them (HAHAHAHA! Is it Friday yet? I'm already laughing at my own jokes)

Posted by: BigAlice at September 13, 2007 1:09 PM

Those count as eye candy.

Posted by: Lucia at September 13, 2007 1:11 PM

Oh, I say, well done! It's a shame to put a shoe over those.

And, the best part: your sock needles are available now! VBG!

Knit on!

Posted by: Barbara-Kay at September 13, 2007 1:18 PM

They ARE perfect. And at the risk of sounding redundant, another pattern I have on my to-do list.

Posted by: Leah at September 13, 2007 1:37 PM

Thank you for sharing your Loksins...these are high on my list of socks to knit. I just got my first hank of Ball and Skein too and love that yarn as well. I got Rainy Day Blues.
