Grandma so loved hydrangeas and had many of them on her property. I've got one teensy one that's too small yet to bloom but he did survive the winter. She dried hers and spray painted them gold for dried flower arrangements. She was a menace with that spray paint but she's responsible for whatever sort of green thumb I've got so I can't complain.

So pretty! They color is beautiful. I have a hydrangea but it's had a hard time recovering from winter this year.

What a lovely photo! I wanted (and got) a blue hydrangea to plant for our anniversary this year... they are a favorite and bring back nostalgic childhood memories.

Beautiful! This morning, while driving to the train station, I passed a neighbor's house that has a gorgeous hydrangea in the front yard. I was so tempted to pull over and take a picture of it to post on my blog today. Glad you beat me to it!!!

Gorgeous! Isn't it fascinating how hydrangeas change color with the acidity of the soil they're in?? I really want to find a good place to put one at my house since I'm gonna be here the rest of my life. heh :)
